Having started her career in Journalism and PR, Margaret fell into recruitment in her mid 20’s and has been there ever since. Conscious of the need for high quality media professionals, in 1986 she co-founded Judy Fisher Associates. Over two decades later Margaret passionately believes the agency’s success is entirely dependent on the quality of the JFA team. ‘Our consultants have impressive senior experience across a broad range of media employment. Liz Adcock
Consultant
One of the Antipodean diaspora, Liz left the sunburnt country behind in 1988. With over fifteen years' recruitment experience, Liz leads the permanent team at Judy Fisher. Liz’s background covers theatre, music and licensing. A keen cyclist, Liz enjoys discovering London on two wheels.
Tamsen Liddell Consultant
After an early career in Arts management, organising everything from orchestral concerts to solo recitals to Royal Galas, Tamsen joined Judy Fisher Associates in 1996 after a chance booking to help with filing for a couple of days. Discovering she loved it, she spent 3 years on the temp team and 18 months as office manager, before moving to permanent recruitment and back again to the temp team where she’s been ever since. Tam also particularly enjoys donning her bright yellow tabard for fire drills. When not recruiting, Tam can usually be found snoozing, wine-tasting, or correcting someone’s grammar.
Sharon Clarke Consultant
Sharon started a 20 year career in radio and television as a BBC publicity assistant accompanying Magnus Magnusson’s famous black chair from county to county. She eventually became hooked on the buzz and logistical nightmares of newsrooms across the South East, troubleshooting the last minute demands of breaking stories. With an in depth knowledge of the staffing and freelance world of national radio and television she moved to Judy Fisher Associates in June 2007 from ITV News. An over-ambitious and messy cook, to her friends ’ embarrassment Sharon is the proud owner of the dodgiest 80’s CD collection of all time.
Andrea Stewart Office Manager
Andrea joined the team at Judy Fisher Associates in August 2003, where she worked as Payroll Administrator before accepting the position of Office Manager.
Andrea enjoys the role of Office Manager as it offers a variety of challenges, from being involved in website development to fixing people’s computers when they blow up. In addition, the part-time role allows Andrea to continue studying for a degree in History of Art at Birkbeck.
Andrea’s interests include art, music, film, theatre and her cats, Alice and Sebastian. She also enjoys pina colada, getting caught in the rain and talking about herself in the third person.
Jane Opoku Consultant
Jane spent five happy years in the publicity department at Penguin Books, having been placed there by Judy Fisher back in 2001. As a result, she now has to put money into a tin whenever she starts a sentence with “When I was at Penguin…”. From the delights and challenges of travelling up and down the country with top authors on book signing publicity tours, Jane moved to Colman Getty, generating PR campaigns within the arts and publishing world. In 2008, Jane returned to Judy Fisher, this time as a consultant on the permanent team.
Sandra Copeland Administrator
After 18 absolutely fabulous years in retail (apart from the sore feet!) Sandra fell into payroll quite by accident. She worked in two huge payroll companies Cancer Research UK, and the Metropolitan Police where she learned a little too much! Passionate about sewing, retail therapy (keeping in touch with what’s out there) and decorating, the all-important thing to Sandra is support for her son on Saturday/Sunday as one of those football mums YEHHH!!
